Interior Ministry will not secure Tahrir without military order

CAIRO: Egypt's Interior Ministry will not secure Tahrir Square or the Israeli Embassy in Cairo without an order from the ruling military council, a security source told Youm7 this evening.
The ministry withdrew its forces from Tahrir and the surrounding areas on Thursday in an expression of respect for freedom of expression and demonstration.
Demonstrators occupy both Tahrir Square, the epicenter of Egypt's January uprising, and the area around the Israeli Embassy.
