ALEXANDRIA- Egypt: Conjoined twins “Negar and Angy” died in the intensive care unit of Shatby Educational Hospital in Alexandria Thursday, after their shared heart failed.
The twins succumbed to their deteriorating circulatory health despite medical efforts.
Angy and Negar shared a heart and liver, but separate urinary and digestive systems.
Twins conjoined at chest are considered one of the most rare types.
