CAIRO: Egyptian Minister of Interior Mansour el-Essawi decided to release 1,040 prisoners from different Egyptian prisons who met their terms of pardon after spending half their time and some conditions for release. The Supreme Council of Armed Forces decided to apply the terms of pardon to the rest of the period for some prisoners, on occasion of Eid el-Fitr. Pardon decision included 833 prisoners, who met the terms of pardon after spending half their period and fulfilled all financial obligations of their sentences. The Supreme Committee of Conditional Release continued to revise all prisoners' files throughout Egypt and found 207 prisoners to be released during the upcoming month.
