CAIRO, Egypt: The biggest drug dealer an ancient Egyptian suburb committed suicide in his cell this morning. He used his prisoner uniform to create a crude gibbet and hung himself from the ceiling. Raafat Abdel Shafour, known as Khnoka, was accused of 18 criminal cases. He escaped from Natroon Prison during the Egyptian January 25 Revolution. He was accused of drug dealing, theft, assault, damaging police cars and attempting murder. Khnoka also participated in breaking into police stations twice to release prisoners, banditry on highways, burning traffic stations and police cars. He was considered the most dangerous thug in Egypt. Khnoka was imprisoned in solitary and was spending his 10-year penalty. He decided to end his life three days after being imprisoned. The Egyptian general attorney team examined his body, which will be transferred to forensic in order to confirm the reason of his death. The body will be buried after the autopsy.
