The new state of South Sudan will participate in the el-Araby book exhibition for the first time said El Gameely Ahmad, founder and owner of the exhibition. The exhibition will be held from September 8 to September 18, next to the Cairo Opera house in el-Jazeera park. El Gameely added that the South Sudanese delegation would be represented in a symposium entitled “The Future of South Sudan,” which will be attended by South Sudanese officials and its ambassador. The symposium will also discuss the future relationship between Egypt and South Sudan, and shed light on the popular legacy of the new South Sudanese state. El Gameely expressed his pleasure that the South Sudanese would join the exhibition. He said: “Some countries didn't approve the existence of South Sudan, but this is an anachronistic opinion, and the symposium will explain the features of this state.”
