Israeli minister: Sinai Peninsula open theater for terrorism

The Israeli Minister for Home Front Defense, Matan Vilnai, slammed Egyptian Security forces, claiming they are unable to control the Sinai Peninsula.
Vilnai claimed Sinai Peninsula has become a deserted, unprotected open area in which terrorists can operate. He added that Israel might be forced to take action to curb threats coming from the peninsula.
Israel Public Radio indicated that the Israeli military is still pursuing those who participated in attacking Eilat yesterday.
