CAIRO: The coalition "Egypt is above all," one of the groups demonstrating in Cairo's Roxy Square, had decided to suspend all strikes. The group expressed its commitment to legitimacy and respect of rule of law. They added that there is a need to restore stability and security on the Egyptian street. Mahmoud Atiya, the public coordinator of the coalition, said that Egyptians should start building the country and correct the wrong concept of freedom and democracy. Ateya added that Egyptians should unify themselves behind the ruling military council to open the door for them to work without pressure from those people who work to achieve their personal interests or foreign agendas, rather than the good of the country. He said the coalition decided to cancel their celebrations in memory of 10 Ramadan in response to the demands of the ruling military council to dissolve the strikes organized in Tahrir Square.
