CAIRO: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf today ignored the demands of demonstrating residents in the Cairo neighborhood, 10th of Ramadan City, during his visit. The protestors tried to stop Sharaf outside the headquarters of the Investors Association to voice their demands but security officials formed a barrier between them and the Prime Minister. When the demonstrators approached Sharaf's car, quarreling ensued and one resident fainted, causing the demonstrators to chant, “Downn Down Essam Sharaf.” Sharaf left the neighborhood shortly after.
