The fact-finding committee, formed by the Coalition of Engineers to reform agriculture, denied the report of results by the European Food Safety Authority. Reports blame Egyptian fenugreek seeds for the emergence of bacteria E. Coli. The Coalition of Engineers said in a statement they formed a fact-finding body to find out the reasons why the EU banned imports of Egyptian grains. They also sent questions and inquiries to find out why. The statement added: "The Committee received a response from the Executive Director of the Food Safety Authority, Catherine Anil. She clarified the Risk Assessment Report Joint Commission stated there is a lot of uncertainty whether the consumption of fenugreek seeds from Egypt are in fact the reason to all E. Coli cases, since there no bacteriological results." The fact-finding committee said it would continue to speak with responsible authorities in Europe in order to prove Egyptian fenugreek seeds are not responsible for the outbreak of E. Coli in Europe.
