Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak's health condition is stable and he is capable of being transferred from Sharm el-Sheikh to stand trial in Cairo, said Egyptian Minister of Health Amr Hilmi. A medical team will supervise the health of Mubarak during the transfer and over the course of the trial, he added. The Ministry of Health sent a message to the President of the Court where Mubarak's fate is to be determined asking if a medical team would be needed for his transfer from the Red Sea resort town in Sinai, said Hilmi at a Ministry of Health press conference. If the Court is unwilling to send a medical team, they can opt to receive daily medical updates from the physicians responsible for Mubarak's care at the Sharm el-Sheikh hospital, said Hilmi. The Ministry of Health will station ambulances at the trial itself, in the event that either the former president or any attendees at the Court suffer injuries, Hilmi added.
