A Palestinian delegation will visit Cairo to hold meetings with Egyptian officials about Palestinian reconciliation and unification, said Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Yasser Othman. Egypt will work to achieve the Palestinian reconciliation, Yasser said. The time of the meeting with the High Committee of the Palestinian Factions has yet to be scheduled, he said. Palestinian factions will visit with Egyptian officials separately, the ambassador said, and Egypt's goal is to help foster mutual cooperation with all Palestinian political groups before holding meetings in Egypt. Palestinian factions came to a mutual agreement during a meeting with the executive committee, said Abdel-Raheem Melwah, deputy director-general of the Public Front to Liberate Palestine, and a meeting in Cairo will be scheduled soon.
