CAIRO: Habib el-Adly and six of his assistants will go under trial tomorrow over the killing of January 25 Revolution protesters in Cairo Criminal Court. The trial will be broadcasted for the first time. The accusation list in this case included; the former Minister of Interior, Habib el-Adly; the former commander of Central Security Forces, Ahmed Ramzy; the former head of the public security department, Adly Fayed; the former president of the state security investigation, Hassan Mohamed; the former commander of Cairo's security department, Ismail al-Shaer; the former commander of Giza's security department, Osama el-Marasy; and the former commander of October 6 Security Department, Omar Farmawy. The court decision included the first four accused in association with police officers killing the protesters on purpose during the January 25 revolution. The prosecution accused el-Adly of his command to cut off all the communications means during the January 25 Revolution.
