CAIRO: The Supreme Administrative Court, headed by judge Magdy al-Aggaty, passed a final sentence to dissolve the Bar Association and sub-councils, and form instead a judicial committee to run the syndicate until the coming elections are over. The court rejected with this sentence the appeal presented by the Bar Association's chairman against a previous sentence that called to dissolve the council. It should be noted that a group of lawyers filed a law suit against the president of the court of appeal, and claimed that the elections of the Bar Association were invalid. They also demanded to abolish the call of the president of the court of appeal of not forming a committee to supervise the elections of the council until the coming elections are done. He based this on the supreme constitutional court verdict that says that syndicates should have elections according to their own law and not according to law number 100 which is unconstitutional.
