CAIRO: Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Armed Forces, Hussein Tantawi, will meet Sudanese vice president, Ali Osman Taha, who is visiting Egypt July 25 until July 27. He will be accompanied by high-level delegation, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, of International Cooperation and of Agriculture. Deputy Minister of Foreign for Sudanese Affairs, Ambassador Ragaay Nasser, said the delegation will meet Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf and Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs to discuss bilateral relations between Sudan and Egypt. Discussions will include economic and agricultural economic relations. Nasser also said the Sudanese delegation will study common coordination with Egypt regarding The Nile basin file since both countries are considered downstream countries. He also stated Sudan's and Egypt's position towards the file is based on cooperation with the Nile basin countries. Nasser also said mutual visits with the new state of South Sudan are not scheduled yet, and he assured Egypt seeks to establish a strong relation with South Sudan.
