CAIRO: Darb 1718 Centre for Contemporary Art is hosting Microphone Mareekh: Open Mic next Thursday, to give the opportunity for young artists to express themselves.
Linda Cleary, who coordinates the monthly event said "On the Roof" is a creative platform for young artists who write in Arabic or English to read out their work, perform stand-up comedy, storytelling, music, dance and any kind of creative performance.
