A seminar on ‘Political and Literary Speech after the Revolution' will be held tomorrow night by Dar el-Eloum club in Tawfikia. The discussion will be moderated by poet and critic Ahmed Hassan with the participation of critics Hussein Hamouda and Emad Adbellatif. Critic Hussein Mahmoud presented a study titled ‘Squares of Rage' in which he presented an induction for the revolutionary scenes in five Egyptian novels. The novels are: ‘Palace Walk' by famed Egyptian writer Naguib Mahfouz; ‘Zahran's Garden' by Abdel Fatah; ‘Rama and the Dragon' by novelist Edwar al-Kharat; ‘Snowy Egret' by Ibrahim Aslan; and ‘East of the Palms' by Bahaa Taher. Abdellatif will present an analysis of the speeches of former president Hosni Mubarak since the beginning of Egypt's January 25 Revolution.
