CAIRO: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf is using his Facebook page to search for ministerial candidates. He posted a question on his page asking for nominations for new ministers. More than 4,000 comments were posted in three hours regarding the people who are likely to be nominated. Facebook fans on the page proposed to nominate legitimate and human rights activist for the Minister of Interior. These included Nasser Ameen, Gamal Eid, and Nagad el-Borei. They also nominated Ahmed Zweil and Farouk el-Baz for the ministers of Education and Scientific Research. As for the Minister of Justice, likely presidential candidate Hisham el-Bastawisi, chairman of the Judges Club Mahmoud el-Khodeiry and Judge Mohammad Qnswa were nominated. As for the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the youth suggested to nominate likely presidential candidate Mohamed el-Baradei, Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil al-Arabi, and Professor of Political Science Hassan Nafaa. Google's executive director for the Middle East, Wael Ghoneim, was nominated for the Minister of Information, while Amr Hamzawy was nominated for the Minister of Youth.
