Italian company Eni announced to work in the field of petroleum and natural gas import and export. The company is pledging for U.S. $3 billion during the next year and a half to Egypt as an affirmation of the company's commitment to increase business and investments in Egypt. The chief executive of the company said the company operated in Egypt for 55 years and is one of the largest Italian companies operating in this area. During a meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf on Monday, the company promised commitment to invest and expand its business in Egypt. The company pointed out it would increase employment and training opportunities for the company's employees in the upcoming period, as well as a increase its social role in Sinai.
