The United Nations for Women issued a report discussing the situation of Egyptian women during Egypt's transitional phase with regards to international justice. A roundtable will be prepared tomorrow in Egypt by the national office of the United Nations for Women. UN repots focused on the different obstacles that women face by relating them to international regulations. They also focused on the ways that women can obtain their rights. The roundtable will be headed by the supreme constitutional court deputy prime Tahini el-Gebali, constitutional and political advisor of the UN for Women, Ali el-Sawi, and the human rights and women rights activist, Mona Zolficar. The first session will discuss women rights in the new constitution, followed by the second session which will discuss reforming personal status and family laws.
