Amr Moussa, likely presidential hopeful and former Arab League head, showed his appreciation for fellow potential presidential candidate Hisham Bastawisi, although he disagreed with some of his suggestions during the national discussion of the constitution. Moussa said the paper presented by Judge Hisham Bastawisi contains ideas about important cases in Egypt concerning the future of political life in Egypt. He also said that he is completely against the expression of being "above the articles of the constitution," because it undermines the constitution which is considered the main document of the nation. He added that any suggestions concerning the articles of the constitution should be connected to the constitution itself and not be considered above it. Moussa also said it is everyone's responsibility to ensure that a coup does not happen against the constitution. All legal, political and the military associations should make sure that this responsibility is not limited to one association only, he added.
