THE HAGUE, The Netherlands: The assets of 19 Egyptians politicians have been frozen in the Netherlands, said the general secretary of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ed Kronenburg, during a visit by a delegation of Egyptian revolution youth. Kronenburg added that the European Union "is following restoring the stolen Egyptian money." Kronenburg said restoring the stolen Egyptian money case may take time because it requires legal procedures. Holland and the EU are working to return the money stolen from Egypt. However, they are waiting for Egypt to achieve greater stability, the appearance of elected officials and responsible administration and the formation of a known political frame that can receive the money, Kronenburg added. Kronenburg expressed his sorrow for the latest violent events in Cairo's now-iconic Tahrir Square. "We hope Egypt will pass this phases and achieve modern democracy, " said Kronenburg. "The EU is carefully following the Egyptian situation since January 25 Revolution," he added. Kronenburg listened to activist youth dialogues about the current situation in Egypt, their visions, new parties' positions in Egyptian society, their demands, and the Egyptian police situation. Egyptian youth discussed the Egyptian will to achieve democracy and establish powerful organizations and parties.
