CAIRO: A number of people went to Tahrir square last night to demonstrate. Demonstrators were asked to leave in order to restore order to the square and to stop opposing the police, causing an atmosphere of confusion at the square. Controversy arose amongst demonstrators on whether they should present the former Minister of Interior, Habib al-Adly, to military court. They were all, however, united in denouncing the delay of trialing those responsible for killing demonstrators during the January 25 Revolution. Egypt's Minister of Interior ordered all security forces to withdraw from Tahrir Square. Security forces have placed a security cordon around the entrances of the Ministry of Interior, and are ready to use tear gas if demonstrators come close.
