Egypt's Criminal Court to freeze Salem's assets

CAIRO: Cairo's criminal court, chaired by Judge Abdel-Satar Imam, will consider freezing Egyptian fugitive business tycoon Hussein Salem's assets.
Supreme State Security prosecution decided to freeze the money and properties of Salem and eight of his family members.
Salem, who is now detained in Spain, is accused of laundering around 14 million EGP, and was involved in the gas export deal to Israel.
