Chairman of the German Chamber of Commerce Said Naguib Sawiris said the Middle East and North Africa region needs a project much like the project that Europe adopted after World War II, the Marshall Plan. He also said Egypt needs to provide as many job opportunities as possible for young graduates. During a German Chamber of Commerce Assembly meeting, Sawiris asked the private sector to support the Egyptian economy under the current circumstances. Sawiris said that the German chamber of Commerce played a huge role in promoting investment ties between Egyptian and German companies. German Ambassador to Cairo Michael Bock said the German government is ready to support the Egyptian government. He also said the Egyptian-German partnership has many achievements in North Africa. He also said Egypt has a historical opportunity to change for better through education and training. He emphasized, however, that there are no opportunities without risks.
