CAIRO: Egyptian presidential hopeful Mohamed el-Baradei lead the list of presidential nominees in an opinion poll conducted on the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) Facebook page. El-Baradei won 35 percent of the votes, exceeding Mohamed Selim al-Awa, who came in second on the poll listing the most likely presidential candidates. Former Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq received 12 percent of the 102,877 votes, coming in third. Hazem Salah Abu Ismail gained nine percent of the vote to come in fourth. Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa took seven percent of the vote to come in fifth. The two-day opinion poll also included Former Vice President Omar Suleiman, who received four percent of the votes. Former Muslim Brotherhood member Abdel Moneim Abu al-Fetouh came in sixth with three percent of the vote. Seventh place was shared by Judge Hisham al-Bastawisi, former Prime minister Kamal al-Ganzouri, and journalist and politician Hamdeen Sabbahi; each received two percent of the vote. Moreover, al-Ghad Party founder Ayman Nour, former Chief of Army Staff Magdi Hatah, and Islamic Intellectual Abdullah al-Ashaal each received one percent of the opinion poll votes.
