CAIRO: Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf will visit Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday. His two-day visit aims to revive Egypt's role in the African continent through direct communications with African countries. Sharaf will chair Egypt's delegation in second summit of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa Organization (COMESA) and the organization of the Southern African Development Community (SADAK). Sharaf and South African President Jacob Zuma will discuss bilateral relations between the two states in all fields, particularly topics concerning widening economic cooperation and investment. The second summit aims to agree on establishing a of free trade zone including 26 African countries. This project participates in opening new horizons of trade and industrial cooperation and in establishing joined investment projects to achieve sustainable development in African Countries. The Egyptian delegation also includes Foreign Minister Nabil al-Arabi and Egypt's Minister of Foreign Trade and Industry.
