Governor: Egyptian gas is not being pumped to Israel

The governor of North Sinai, Major General Abd el-Wahab Mabrouk, denied that Egypt is continuing to pump gas to Israel.
Mabrouk said the Minister of Petroleum, Abd Allah Ghorab, has ordered to start experimental pumping on gas lines in order to check their safety, especially after the gas pipeline explosion that took place in April.
Mabrouk said the gas is only delivered to the North of Sinai in Arish, and not to Israel.
He also said that pumping gas to Israel is the Ministry of Petroleum's responsibility and not the governorate's.
