The case filed against Egypt's hated former minister of interior, Habib al-Adly, and three police officers by a law student will be reconsidered by the Southern Cairo Court of First Instance tomorrow. The student accused al-Adly and the officers of assaulting and torturing him inside a police station in 6 October City, outside Cairo. The lawyers of defendants demanded the court to reconsider the case so new documents can be provided to prove the defendants' innocence. The court agreed to reconsider the case. Shady Maged Saad, a student in the Faculty of law, had been accused in a drug case but gained a judicial rule of innocence. However, the police officers of the 6 October police station insisted on torturing and assaulting him so he filed a case against them and managed to gain a judicial rule to condemn the officers.
