CAIRO: The Human Rights committee and new Egyptian assembly demanded opening investigations on Egyptian former President Hosni Mubarak and his high-profile accomplices. The two organizations demanded investigation into the explosion of the Egyptian aircraft that carried 33 military soldiers and three Egyptian scientists in 1999. An Egyptian website revealed that the Public Prosecutor received a complaint from Alexandria accusing Mubarak and his accomplices of treason for their suspected role in the aforementioned accident. The complaint accused Cairo's office of the International Organization of Development and Agricultural Cooperation of spying on Egypt and following Egyptian spies who were recruited. The two organizations warned of the danger of the details included in the complaint, stressing to make sure of the authenticity of these details, which could threaten Egypt's national security.
