There were deliberate attempts to disrupt yesterday's National Dialogue, said Abdel Aziz Hegazi. He said the chaos that took place during the first session of the dialogue yesterday morning was planned. Hegazi said he did not object to expelling members of the formerly ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) from the meeting. It was the presence of the former NDP members that ignited the disorder, he said. He added that members of the youth could find a better way to deal with the situation by sending a paper to clarify their demands. Hegazi said some participants were not invited to the dialogue and blamed a lack of security following the Prime Minister's departure from the meeting for allowing matters to get out of hand at the session. Hegazi criticized the large number of associations that represent the youth of the revolution. He suggested an establishment of one entity to gather all these coalitions. Hegazi denied inviting the figures of the former NDP but he also said he does not have a black list of persons who should not be invited.
