An official from the Al-Azhar institution will face rape accusations in a criminal trial on Tuesday. Four complaints have been filed by the parents of the girls against an Al-Azhar institute in Hadayek Al-Kobba. They accused "Nabil A," an official in the institute, of sexually assaulting some girls of the institute and presenting indecent movies in front of them through computers or satellite channels. Some girls told their mothers what happened inside his house during the private lessons. Inquiries proved the authenticity of the incidents and Egypt's public prosecution issued an arrest warrant against the defendant, who admitted to committing the crimes during investigations. Judge Abdel-Khalek Abed referred the defendant to the criminal court for prosecution.
