TOKYO: On Friday, Japan received its first tourist group since the tsunami on March 11th. The Japan Broadcasting Corporation clarified that the group, composed of 10 Chinese tourists, arrived at the Kansai International Airport in Osaka for a 4-day visit. The Japanese earthquake disaster suspended the flow of Chinese tourism to Japan as the Chinese government previously advised against visiting the affected areas. According to the records filed 1 year ago, estimates from the Japanese travel agency confirmed that the number of Chinese tourists to Japan decreased by half.
