Zamalek manager Jorvan Vieira will not be leaving the club, board member Ayman Younes has confirmed. Reports have been rife that Vieira has decided to leave Zamalek as the Portuguese boss' decision to remain in Abu Dhabi after the friendly Matchworld Cup further fuelled the speculation. Despite implying that the Cairo giants are set to take action against Vieira, board member Younes confirmed a day later that the former Iraq coach will remain at the club's helm. "After speculation surrounding Vieira's future, we were able to contact him and ask him about the issue," Younes told FilGoal.com on Tuesday. "Vieira insisted that he will continue with the team as he will return in two days' time." Vieira had stated that he intends to leave the Cairo giants back in November amid the suspension of domestic football in Egypt. The 59-year-old tactician has been in charge of the club since August 2012, replacing manager Hassan Shehata in the hot seat.
