Champions League winners Ahli will clash with Congo's Leopards in the African Super Cup after the latter clinched the Confederation Cup title with a 4-3 aggregate win over Malian side Djoliba on Sunday. Having drawn 2-2 in Bamako, Leopards claimed a 2-1 second-leg home victory over Djoliba to achieve their biggest-ever feat since being founded in 1954. En route to the final, the unfancied Congolese side overcame Sudan's Merreikh that boast Egypt goalie Essam Al-Hadari, who was much to blame for his team's exit following an infamous howler that cost his side a crucial goal. The Super Cup should take place in Cairo next February after Ahli finish their Club World Cup campaign in Cairo. Ahli claimed the Champions League title, the seventh in their history, after defeating reigning champions Esperance of Tunisia 3-2 on aggregate.
