Hegazi to wait for Fiorentina debut

Egypt defender Ahmed Hegazi is doubtful for Fiorentina's cup opener with Novara at the weekend due to injury.
The 21-year-old trained with his new club for the first time after returning from the Olympic Games in London, where he played four matches for Egypt.
Hegazi, who sustained a thigh injury in the last game against Japan, has been welcomed by his new boss Vincenzo Montella as Viola prepare for the start of the season.
“I had my first training with Fiorentina today but I wasn't able to continue because of my injury," he told FilGoal.com on Monday.
“I could miss the Italian Cup game on August 18 but hopefully I will be ready for the opening day of the league."
Fiorentina, who finished 13th in the Serie A last term, open their campaign against Udinese on August 25.
