In a dramatic change of events, the Egyptian FA's decision to relegate Masri from the Premier League has been overruled by the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Masri have been handed a one-year ban from domestic competitions following the disaster that took place at their home stadium of Port-Said in a league game with Ahli last February. But the coastal club appealed against the ruling of the FA, who confirmed that their earlier decision has been nullified even though CAS has yet to make an announcement.
