Ahli could be making no more signings
Published in FilGoal on 23 - 06 - 2012

Ahli manager Hossam Al-Badri implied that the league champions might not need new summer recruits despite the ongoing pursuit for another foreign striker.
Speaking to his club's satellite channel from the pre-season camp in Turkey, Al-Badri highlighted a few points regarding the Reds' transfer activity ahead of the new season.
The Ahli boss doesn't seem worried about bringing in a new defender even though he admitted talks with Egypt and Wadi Degla defender Ahmed Saied ‘Ouka'.
Despite the exit of long-serving center-half Ahmed Al-Sayed and the arrival of forward Oussou Konan, Ahli's next recruitment could be another man upfront, even so Al-Badri indicated that it is not a priority.
Alternatives
“There have been talks with Ouka even before I was hired. He is a good player with international experience, but he has just agreed terms with Degla," Al-Badri said during a lengthy interview.
“If he managed to talk with Degla officials and leave he could be with us, otherwise I have alternatives. We have youngsters Saad Samir and Mohamed Abdul-Fattah.
“We have experienced players like Wael Gomaa, Mohamed Naguib and Sherif Abdul-Fadil, so there is no problem in defense.
“As for attackers, we signed Konan and now we will move for the other African player (Ezechiel Ndouassel of Club Africain).
“We could have a deal or the case could be closed. I still have Emad Meteb and Al-Sayed Hamdi and we have many forwards who can play deep.
“A player who I was hoping he could be with us is Mohamed Al-Nenni (Egypt and Arab Contractors midfielder), but I don't think his club will let him go now."
