An out-of-form Ahli conceded three well-taken goals to lose 3-2 to Kuwait's Shabab, in the Egyptian champions' first game after the Port-Said disaster. In their first friendly in Dubai, Ahli took a first-half lead via a penalty from Mohamed Abou-Treika, who paid tribute to the victims of last month's tragedy with a muted celebration. But Shabab replied strongly in the second half, scoring three magnificent goals through Brazilians Marcos and Rodrigo, and Kuwait international Khaled Abdul-Qudoos. Abou-Treika then grabbed a late consolation for the Reds with another penalty that proved to be the last kick of the game.
