Ahmed Hassan will have to wait another day to become the world's most-capped player of all time despite starting for Egypt against Kenya. The Pharaohs captain is just one match short of breaking Mohamed Al-Daeyea's record of 178 caps, only to learn that the Kenya friendly is not included in FIFA's international-match agenda. Hassan is joined by Hosni Abd-Rabou and Ibrahim Salah in Bob Bradley's 4-3-3 line-up, which includes two debutants. Arab Contractors right-back Bassem Ali makes his Egypt bow, while Dakhlia forward Ahmed Temsah joins Ahmed Mekki and Mohamed Salah in attack. Mohamed Abdul-Shafi, Mahmoud Fathallah and Ahmed Saied ‘Ouka' complete the back four as Essam Al-Hadari regains his place between the posts.
