Zamalek goalkeeper Abdul-Wahed Al-Sayed revealed that he doesn't feel comfortable wearing the captaincy armband during matches. Abdul-Wahed, who captained Zamalek in Friday's 3-1 win over Military Production, opted not to put an armband for the second game running. In last week's draw with Gaish, the veteran guardian handed the captaincy armband to Shikabala after conceding an equalizer from Ernest Papa Arko. “I was team captain today but I preferred not to wear an armband because honestly I don't like to,” Abdul-Wahed told Ahmed Shobeir in Modern Kora TV after the Production win on Friday. “After I conceded a goal against Gaish and the second half was on the way, I felt that I don't want to play with the armband, so I gave it to Shikabala. But today no one wore an armband!” Abdul-Wahed was stripped of the Zamalek captaincy for one game last season, following a dispute with then-football-director Ibrahim Hassan.
