Egypt coach Hany Ramzy has included Ahli duo Rami Rabiea and Shehab Ahmed in his provisional 30-man list for next month's CAN 20120 qualifier against Niger. Ramzy, who is in charge of the first team temporarily, made a few changes to the side who lost 2-1 in Sierra Leone earlier this month. Skipper Ahmed Hassan retained his place in the squad as he is three games away from becoming the world's most capped footballer of all time. Zamalek forward Mohamed Ibrahim has been called up after missing the Sierra Leone game, as well as Ahmed Shokri, who is on loan from Ahli at Bani Suef Telephones. On the other hand, three players from Zamalek were omitted as there was no place for Salah Soliman, Ahmed Maher and Hossam Arafat. Egypt will face Niger on October 8, only three days before the Egyptian Cup final.
It will be a game to spare for the African champions, who are already assured of finishing bottom of Group 7.
