Nigerian champions Enyimba were the first team to book a place in the CAF Champions League semi-finals after snatching a 2-1 victory at Sudan's Hilal. The Sudanese champions took an early lead in Omdurman through Nigerian striker Edward Sadomba, but Valentine Nwabaelli equalized for the visitors on 68 minutes. Enyimba then claimed the three points thanks to an injury-time penalty from Samuel Tswanya. With one match remaining, the Nigerians amassed 11 points from five games and are guaranteed top spot in Group A, four points ahead of Hilal. Coton Sport of Cameroon are third with four points while Raja Casablanca are bottom with two, ahead of their meeting in Garoua on Saturday. In Group B, Esperance face MC Alger on Saturday, while Wydad Casablanca host Ahli on Sunday.
