Zamalek have completed the signing of Benin striker Razak Omotoyossi from Swedish side Syrianska for $220,000, the Cairo club said. The 25-year-old trained with his new team for the first time on Wednesday and should be available for selection by the start of September. Omotoyossi, who is one of his nation's all-time leading goalscorers, penned a three-year contract with the five-time African champions. He will now join a frontline comprising Egypt international duo Amr Zaki and Mido, in addition to Ahmed Gaafar and new recruit Hussein Hamdi. Mani and Deumaga Meanwhile, Zamalek will make a final decision regarding their remaining slot for an overseas player by the end of the week. Manager Hassan Shehata is currently monitoring Togo international Sapol Mani and Cameroonian Cedrick Deumaga, who both play as defensive midfielders. “We will choose between Mani and Deumaga. We are looking to reinforce our midfield, just like we did in defense and attack,” Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef told FilGoal.com. In addition to Omotoyossi, Zamalek have already signed Ghana international center-half Karimu Alhassan from Hearts of Oak.
