Midfielder Hassan Mostafa has left Zamalek on a free transfer to Wadi Degla, the latter announced the deal on Thursday. The 31-year-old, who was one of Zamalek's top performers last term, signed a two-year deal with Degla after the Whites failed to offer him a new contract this summer. “I was one of the pillars of the team and despite that, no one spoke with me about extending my contract,” Mostafa told FilGoal.com. “I learnt that Hassan Shehata (new manager) wanted me to stay, yet there was no approach from the board, so I had to move on.” Before joining Zamalek in 2009, Mostafa played for Police Union, Ittihad and Ahli, where he spent most of his career.
