Zamalek football director Ibrahim Hassan is urging club officials to choose their words when talking to the media in order not to add the tension between rival fans. The twin brother of manager Hossam Hassan was commenting on the events that marred Ittihad's league game with Wadi Degla on Wednesday, when the home fans invaded the pitch near the end. “We should have campaigns to calm our fans down. Officials should not come out with comments that add fuel to the fire,” the outspoken Hassan told FilGoal.com. “Football is a sport, there is no need for anxiety and anger.” Hassan was accused by many pundits of making inflammatory comments ahead of Zamalek's Champions League clash with Club Africain last April, instigating the infamous pitch invasion scenes. One-year deal Meanwhile, the Hassan twins look set to extend their stay with Zamalek for another year, despite indicating this week that a two-year deal would be preferable for them. “The board has decided to hand the Hassans a one-year extension with the same terms,” Zamalek interim chairman Galal Ibrahim said. The Hassan twins, who spent 22 years with Zamalek's arch-rivals Ahli, have been with the Whites since November 2009 as they hope to bring silverware back to the Cairo giants this term.
