Zamalek are poised to take part in the centennial celebrations of Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in November, the Cairo club said on Tuesday. Hearts, Ghana's oldest club, invited the Egyptian giants to play an exhibition match in Accra on November 11/12/13. Zamalek said they have principally accepted the offer, but a final decision shall be made by new manager Hassan Shehata according with the team's fixture. Hearts are regarded as the most popular club in Ghana, having won the domestic league 19 times and the CAF Champions League once in 2000. They played against Zamalek one time in the 2001 CAF Super Cup, beating the Whites 2-0 in Kumasi.
