MCDR made an official bid to sign Egypt keeper Essam Al-Hadari from Sudanese side Merreikh. "We started negotiations with Merreikh to avoid any illegal approach," MCDR manager Tarek Yehia told FilGoal.com. Al-Hadari has left his team and flied to Cairo without permission, after telling the board he doesn't want to stay in Sudan. "There's a buy-out clause in his contract, but we don't want to harm our relationship with Merreikh," the coach said. Yehia said there are other options in this department, if MCDR failed to land Al-Hadari. Amir Abdul-Hamid of Masri and Mahalla goalie Ibrahim Farag are shortlisted by MCDR, who finished sixth in their first season in the top flight.
