Zamalek left-back Mohamed Abdul-Shafi has submitted a transfer request over late wages. Abdul-Shafi's agent Mohamed Reda told FilGoal.com that the international defender received only 50% of his dues despite playing all Zamalek's games this season. He was never substituted, featuring for 2700 minutes and helping Zamalek to finish second. Zamalek manager Hossam Hassan always praised Abdul-Shafi while football director Ibrahim Hassan described him as 'God's gift for Zamalek.' "The Hassan twins are the only people who try to get Abdul-Shafi his money. But the board hasn't reacted," Reda added. Abdul-Shafi has been named in the Egyptian Military squad that will play in the Military World Cup. The tournament kicks-off on Monday and Egypt's first game will be against Kenya on Wednesday.
