Ahli have played down Ahmed Fathi's reported move to English club Queens Park Rangers. Fathi has been linked with the Premier League's newly-promoted side as Egyptian media said that representatives from the club watched him during the 2-2 draw with Zamalek in the Cairo derby. But Ahli football director Sayed Abdul-Hafiz said that no offers were made for Fathi, either from QPR or any other European club. "There's nothing official. We don't deal with agents, we only discuss official bids or inquiries from interested clubs," Abdul-Hafiz told FilGoal.com. Fathi had a short stint in the Premier League with Sheffield United after joining from Ismaili. But he left England for Ahli after a long chase from arch-rivals Zamalek. Fathi's agent, Nader Shawky, said that there is real interest from several European clubs. "Offers will be submitted to Ahli after the end of the season. I can assure you that," said Shawky, who is also the agent of Ahmed Elmohammady and Amr Zaki.
