Ahli keeper Sherif Ekrami's comeback, which was expected to be imminent, might be postponed due to a fresh knee problem. Ekrami, who was the Red Devils' first-choice man between the posts before his injury, underwent surgery twice after seeing his knee cartilage problem aggravated. He has been out of action since November. The 27-year-old was set to get back in training on Friday and make his return shortly afterwards, but thanks to his troublesome knee he could well spend more time on the sidelines. "He felt pain due to inflammations of the knee that was operated on weeks ago," team doctor Walid Abdul-Baki told Ahli's official site. "The inflammations are negligible and Ekrami should get back in training soon." Ahmed Adel has been Ahli's regular goalie for quite a while.
